It's The Law

An auto insurance policy is required, by law, in the province of Ontario if you own and wish to drive your vehicle.

Coverage

Liability coverage is the minimum amount of coverage you can have and protects you against being sued if you injure someone while operating your vehicle.

Collision coverage protects you against paying for the damages caused by getting in to an accident.

Comprehensive coverage protects you against such things as fire, theft and windshield damage.

Both collision and comprehensive coverage requires you to purchase it with a deductible. The higher the deductible the less your insurance cost will be.

Your insurance rate will vary depending on the coverage you select.
